Begin smoking cigarettes.
A rare New Year's resolution, isn't it?
Yet, I had a friend many years ago who had a New Year's resolution to take up smoking the next year. Granted, his intention was to try smoking a classic pipe and project as much of a sophisticated / reading-by-a-fireplace / Jazz muso / cool-old-woodsman vibe as possible.
Generally, (and in contrast) we as people aim to muster fresh resolve to take up good and healthy actions and habits for the coming year.
What is your hope and plan for meeting with Jesus through the Bible in 2023?
I suspect most of us are hoping to grow in our relationship with Jesus next year. And, I think most of us are open to the idea of connecting with Christ meaningfully through His Word in fresh ways in 2023.
I want to relay some great Bible Reading Plan options for you to consider for 2023:

Chronological Reading. Read through the bible in the order of historical events. Follow it at your own pace or in one year. http://static.esvmedia.org/assets/pdfs/rp.chronological.pdf

Or, try crafting your own reading plan with the Bible Reading Plan Generator. https://biblereadingplangenerator.com/?start=2023-01-01&total=365&format=calendar&order=traditional&daysofweek=1,2,3,4,5,6,7&books=OT,NT&lang=en&logic=words&checkbox=1&colors=0&dailypsalm=0&dailyproverb=0&otntoverlap=0&reverse=0&stats=0&nodates=0

Whatever your approach to the Holy Scriptures will be in 2023, may they lead you into a more meaningful and growing relationship with Jesus!
Our vision is always Jesus.
May you see Him through His Word in 2023!
