Embracing the Future Following 20 years as lead pastor here at Comox Pentecostal Church; in this final message Pastor Dave challenges us to Embrace The Future. Embrace what God has prepared for you.
Key Scripture: 1 Corinthians 2:9,10 “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him. But God has revealed it to us by His Spirit.”
2 Corinthians 7:4 “I have great confidence in you; I take great pride in you. I am greatly encouraged………….….my joy knows no bounds.”
NOW WHAT? Question: What is God preparing that needs to be embraced?
1. Embrace What God Is Doing In You Philippians 1:6 “He who has begun a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Be encouraged. God is not finished with you yet.
2. Embrace A New Wine Skin
Matthew 9:17 “No one pours new wine into old wine skins, if they do the skins will burst, the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No they pour new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved.”
What Remains The Same?
3. Embrace Your New Lead Pastor
2 Corinthians 7:2 “Make room in your hearts.”
