Life Happens Together.
We believe that life change happens best in the context of loving and meaningful relationships. At CPC, we have a variety of groups and connection points meeting different ages and needs so you can build those essential relationships.
Groups are where individuals get together on a weekly basis to hang out together, usually over coffee or tea, for an activity or cause with the purpose of intentional spiritual growth. They are a place to be challenged and encouraged and a place to build a lasting healthy spiritual community.
TYPES OF GROUPS :
Below is a brief breakdown of different types of groups and connection points at CPC.
Coffee Clubs:
Coffee Clubs are very small groups that allow for deeper conversation and connection, usually following the current series discussion questions. Many people self-organize into Coffee Clubs, but if you need some help finding a Coffee Club to participate in, we'd love to lend a hand.
Pop-up Groups:
Pop-up Groups are short-term groups created for a specific season, running for a set length of time, and then stopping. When each Pop-up Group is completed, some individuals may want to continue meeting with members. At that time, they can create their own small group or coffee club.
Life Groups:
Life Groups are groups that run throughout the year. These groups can be made up of long-time friends or newcomers to CPC, and of different ages and walks of life. What they have in common is that all members learn, grow, and study God's word together.
DNA Relationships:
DNA stands for discipleship, nurturing and accountability. At CPC we encourage everyone to have 1-2 close DNA relationships in their life with people of the same gender in which you are able to sharpen each other, be intentional about growing in the Word together and keep each other accountable in life, goals, struggles, etc. These DNA relationships usually develop over time out of one of our other groups like coffee clubs or life groups.
