Being newer in a church can bring all kinds of feelings and questions. What is this church about? Are there things for my kids and family to be part of? How do we meet people or get involved here? These are important questions for anyone, and whether you’re new to church altogether or just new to our church, we have three next steps designed to help you.
Next Steps if you are New to CPC
Newcomers Event
Every few months we book an entire local coffee shop for a brief evening event that features conversations, Q&A, and, of course, some delicious coffee and goodies. The Newcomers Event is hosted by our Pastoral Team and we’d love to get to know you, help introduce you to others, and share a bit about ways you can connect deeper and get involved in the life of our church. If you’re new in the past few weeks or months, we hope you’ll sign up for our next Newcomers Event. Kids are welcome!

Connect
Faith and life are not meant to be experienced alone. We were created for community, and if your journey in faith is solo right now, your next step is to connect more intentionally with others who follow Jesus too. Our church has many opportunities for community and we would love to help you connect to others in a small group, on a Serve Team, at one of our camps or upcoming events, or in our ministries for children, youth and families. Be sure to introduce yourself to lots of people and help others feel connected too!

CPC Essentials
This interactive one-day class is about discovering why CPC’s vision and values matter so much to us, how our doctrines define us, and how to deepen your walk with Jesus in our church and community. CPC Essentials is designed to propel you toward an enriched life of spiritual growth and impact, is crucial in learning what CPC is about, and is also a great way for you to meet more people in our church family!
