What a week!!!!!!! What a week!! After months of planning, designing safety protocols, months of youth gathering together on Zoom, we were finally able to have Elevate Youth in-person last Wednesday!  I’m very thankful for the openness and heart that our government has for students, to allow us to have in-person programming for them. My heart doubled in size last Wednesday as 20 students walked through the church doors and filled our lower auditorium for youth. They were excited to be around each other, to have fun, but most importantly, to learn more about Jesus.

Last week, Daniella Saunders and Luke Paddock talked to the students about what healthy relationships look like. My favourite take-away from the message was that if we want healthy relationships with someone, we need to make sure we have a healthy relationship with Jesus. As we move forward over the next few months, our heart is that our in-person gatherings will help build a stronger faith community, that our students will feel valued, loved and they will know that we are better together.
